FRISCO -- Construction is starting this week at the new Frisco headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys.
Starting this week equipment will be delivered and engineers will be on site installing erosion fencing.
The City of Frisco and the school district are paying $115 million to move "America's Team" to their growing town. The project will include a 12,000-seat indoor practice facility, which will be used by high school teams on Thursday and Friday nights.
There will also be a five-acre office complex and a 66-acre retail, hotel and restaurant district.
The Cowboys are moving to the headquarters at Warren Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway in the fall of 2016. The team has been based out of Irving since the 1980s.
Plans for the public-private partnership were announced last August.
