Veteran linebacker Keith Brooking has become one of the emotional leaders on the Cowboys defense. And he's looking for a bounce back performance after the Cowboys failed to play their best against the Packers.
"I'm ticked off every time we lose. Its frustrating when you don't play at your best and you lose a ballgame. But at the same time I fee like we've handled it in a positive way this week, Brooking said. "We've bounced back all year from tough loses in a positive way and i think that's something we've done this week. I think guys are looking at themselves in the mirror and trying to figure out what they can do to make this team better and when you have that personality as a team you're gonna go some places."
We'll see how far in the Redskins backfield that Cowboys front 7 can go. Washington's offensive line is at the heart of the team's struggles and the Cowboys pressure defense figures to take full advantage.
"We're at a key stretch right now in our season and its going to be very important to play at our best. You've got to peak at the right time, I've said that all along. I feel like this football team obviously with a little bump in the road [last] week we're playing better football thatn we've played all year."
We'll see if they can prove it at high noon Sunday.
