Mavericks owner Mark Cuban doesn't like anyone questioning the decisions he makes (he's never made a mistake, you know).
But I still don't understand why he let Tyson Chandler go.
Cuban says it's the new CBA deal they have with players, but the Lakers have all those great players and then trade for Chris Paul.
Now the Commissioner stopped 'em, but the CBA didn't — and yet the Mavericks couldn't afford Chandler.
I know very little about basketball, but I know this: I listened to the Mavericks and their fans complain for 30 years they didn't have a center... a lot of great players, but no center.
They finally get one, win a championship, then let him go so they'll have the money to sign a point guard next year.
Now I think The Colony's Deron Williams is a great player, but he's a guard. And unless you're Michael Jordan, guards don't win NBA titles unless they have a center.
And the Mavericks let theirs go saying they couldn't afford to keep him.
And I'm thinking... they couldn't afford not to.
