There’s a fascinating story about a boy in iowa who qualified for the state wrestling meet   -   which incidentally is a huge event   -   being born and raised in iowa  -   I know     …    but his 1st match was against a girl   -  so he forfeited

Now I’m a big believer in equal opportunity and encouraging young girls to chase their dreams and smash all those glass ceilings they bump their head against   -   but NOT WRESTLING   !!!!!

I think it’s ridiculous that a young girl would wrestle boys   -   and equally ridiculous that young boys would wrestle girls   -   it’s a lose lose situation for the boy    -     if he wins  -   it was against a girl  -     if he loses   -   he can’t go home again

He forfeits because his religion doesn’t allow him to touch girls in such a way  -   but he’ll change   -    if he doesn’t the religion dies out   …  but I just think we’ve gone too far in this case of allowing girls on the wrestling team

Maybe we should let boys try out for the volleyball team   …    there wouldn’t be 2 girls in iowa who could make that team  ---

Equal opportunity in the workplace  -   of course      equal opportunity on a wrestling mat   --

As the great Jimmy Johnson used to say   …   PLEASE  !!!
