The TCU women's basketball team is back in the NCAA tournament. The team learned about their latest bid during a selection party at Daniel Meyer Coliseum Monday night. TCU got an at-large bid and will play Dayton next in Knoxville, Tennessee.
That's the good news. The bad news is that the winner of that game Saturday will face the first round winner from No. 1 seed
Tennessee and 16th seed Austin Peay. Since they're playing in Knoxville, that will make Tennessee tough to beat in the second round. TCU is in the tournamnet for the ninth time in 10 years. They have never played Dayton.
TCU enters the tournament with an overall 22-8 record after winning their first Mountain West Conference regular-season championship but lost in the semifinal round of the post season tournament to Utah
