So I’m reading my Morning News the other day  -  as I almost always do -   and I see where Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says he doesn’t have a plan  --   SAY WHAT ??     ….    tell me you didn’t make a mistake trading Tyson Chandler   ….    tell me you thot you’d be better   ….     tell me you’ll get better

BUT DON’T TELL ME YOU DON’T HAVE  A PLAN   -    HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE A PLAN ????

Here’s a plan   …    realize that every nba team that doesn’t have a guy named Michael Jordan on it that has won an nba title  -    had a center    ….   not a hall of fame center   …  maybe not even an all-star center   ….   but a center who plays the game at a very high level  -   and not at both ends of the court either

You need a center who can give you the easy buckets underneath  ….  or keep the other team from getting those easy buckets   …   preferably both   ….   but at least 1   …   the mavericks had that in Tyson Chandler and let him go and I still don’t understand that

Cuban says blame it on the cba    …  the collective bargaining agreement with the player’s union   ….   but why is it that nba salary restrictions only seem to impact the mavericks   ….    The lakers have all those great players and then make a trade for Chris Paul   -    how ???    now the commissioner stopped it   ….   But the cba didn’t   …   they have kobe and gasol and bynum and still had room for paul   -     I’m thinking there’s a couple of guys I might have let go before Tyson Chandler    ….   but that’s just me

And don’t let Cuban tell you I don’t know anything about basketball either   ….   I was the captain of my all conference team  ….   unanimous choice   ….    and I was a center too   ----  you NEVER let a good one get away   …   I don’t care how many point guards you sign
