The Dallas Mavericks tried to send Dirk Nowitzki into orbit — at least his bobblehead.
The team released a video Tuesday showing the attempt to lift the replica of the Mavs' premier player into space via balloon.
The pictures show that mini-Dirk got his head high into the clouds (although the team didn't say exactly how far up it traveled).
Soon, you'll be able to bid on the high-flying bobblehead, which will be signed by Dirk himself.
