ARLINGTON — No matter where you cheer on the Texas Rangers, there is one ballpark you may never set foot in.
But Reginald Rutledge's miniature version does justice to the real thing. He built the scale model in the garage at his Arlington home in just six weeks.
Rutledge perfected his skills by studying engineering, and has built hundreds of models, including every major stadium in the country.
This one happens to be a favorite right now.
"The Ballpark in Arlington is special because it's a hometown team and the Rangers are winning," he said.
Rutledge is a season ticket holder, and excited about the World Series.
To compliment his Field of Dreams, Rutledge also sculpted miniature statues of the players; some, like Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz, are even catching balls.
There are no cars in Reginald Rutledge's garage; near the Ballpark are his replicas of Cowboys Stadium and the American Airlines Center.
