Rangers come to terms with eight players for 2011

The Texas Rangers announced the signing of eight players today for the 2011 season. With these eight signings, there are still fourteen players not signed that are under club control.

Today signings include AL Rookie of the Year Neftali Feliz, who will more than likey stay as the closer, but has been rumored for a starting spot in the rotation.

Also on the list are former big leaguers Derek Holland, Michael Kirkman, and Julio Barbon who look to make the big-league club again.

Twenty-one year old Engel Beltre is thought to be one of the Rangers top five prospects in the organization. Beltre played in a combination of Bakersfield and Frisco last year. He was aquired by the Rangers in the Eric Gagne to the Boston Red Sox's trade.
