Friday night was especially sweet for a Texas Rangers fan we introduced you to earlier this week.

Les Miller was at the team's first game in Arlington way back in 1972.

He also suffers from cancer. Miller says a doctor didn't give him long to live, so seeing the Rangers make it to the World Series in person was very special.

"To think that I was there. I wanna take time to thank whomever because it was a dream come true... it was in my bucket list," he said.

Miller took one of his original Texas Rangers banners that he purchased during the 70s to the game with him last night.

He'll now get to take that banner to the ballpark again next weekend, because someone bought Miller tickets to the World Series.
