ARLINGTON — We should find out later Saturday if there will be some kind of event for fans to show their support for the Rangers after their World Series defeat in St. Louis Friday night.

Arlington Mayor Robert Cluck said he was looking forward to a victory parade, but he's still hoping that can happen next year.

"Eventually... I hope next year's the case... we're going to be the world champions," Cluck said. "I really thought that was going to happen this time. The Rangers have played so well, they're so focused, they have such good management, such good ownership, I was certain this was the year. But now I'm looking forward to next year, because I know they're a great team."
