Michal Irvin is fighting back against a woman who claims he raped her.  The former Dallas Cowboys Superstar has filed a $100 Million dollar countsuit against the woman.  His attorney Larry Friedman told News 8," We filed for defamation of character, libel, slander, and interference with Michal Irvin's contract with ESPN."

His attorney tells News 8 the woman tried to extort money out of them and threatened to file the suit if Irvin didn't pay up. Friedman says, "They asked for a million dollars and they threatened to file this lawsuit the week leading up to the Super Bowl in order to damage Michael's career if the million was not paid."

Friedman also says Irvin was fired by ESPN radio because of the lawsuit and allegations. So after two years of sports talk,  the football Hall of Famer and former Dallas Cowboys is off the air in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Irvin's final 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. program on ESPN Radio 103.3 FM aired Thursday. The Ben & Skin Show now occupies the time slot.

A brief statement from ESPN Radio general manager Pete Dits broadcast at 11 o'clock said Irvin's contract had expired.  After news emerged of a civil lawsuit filed in Florida against Irvin, the decision  was made Friday morning to end the program.

The Miami Herald reported that a woman filed a civil sexual assault lawsuit filed against Irvin in Florida on Thursday in Broward County Circuit Court.

A woman whose name was given only as "Jane Doe" in the legal papers reportedly said she was raped at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in 2007. She reportedly said Irvin got her drunk and lured her to his hotel room.

Irvin's lawyer tells News 8 the accusations are "totally untrue."
