The tough-minded Huskers took a 12-10 lead with less than two minutes left in the game.  And we were all waiting for BCS chaos to ensue.

1:44 left on the clock and Colt McCoy has the ball in his hands and thanks to a kickoff out of bounds needs about 30 yards to setup the game winning field goal.  A completion to Jordan Shipley plus a penalty takes care of that.

Then, after a review had to confirm there was one second left on the clock, it was all up to Hunter Lawrence.  And he sneaks it through left upright for a trip to Pasadena.

For a game that was an absolute yawner because both defenses absolutely dominated, it sure made for an incredible finish.

And another episode of the greatest bit of reality TV you can have: sports.
