ALLEN - What better way to get into the big game spirit than a little bit of football the day before the Super Bowl?
On Saturday, North Texas will host its own "big game" -- Texas vs. the Nation All-Star Challenge at Allen Eagle Stadium in Allen.
This all-star game will draw over 250 NFL scouts looking to sign the next big pro talent. College seniors from across the country will be playing their best to impress the scouts and coaches.
"I can guarantee that people will be watching the future of the NFL at this game," said Chairman and CEO of Texas vs. the Nation Kenny Hansmire. "At least 97 percent of these players will sign NFL contracts after this game."
The game is made up of a "Texas" team composed of players who went to high school or college in Texas and a "Nation" team composed of players from across the country. Former Dallas Cowboy Bill Bates will coach the Texas team, and Howard Schellenberger will coach the Nation team.
Saturday is expected to be a sell out so get your tickets soon! The All-Star game takes place Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Cheer on your future NFL players!
