OCOCEE, Fla -- Golf superstar Tiger Woods was treated and released from an Orlando, Florida-area hospital early Friday morning after a car accident near his home.
A statement from Health Central Hospital spokeswoman Susan Jackson and Woods' publicist said Woods was in good condition.
Authorities said the 2009 Cadillac SUV Woods was driving hit a fire hydrant and a tree before coming to a stop.
Woods was reportedly treated for cuts on his face.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but police said alcohol didn't appear to be a factor.
