I was told Tropicana Field … home of the Rays was an ugly ballpark … it’s beyond ugly … it looks like a Walmart from the outside ... if Walmart planted a few palm trees … and on the inside it looks like a minor league park.

A minor league domed stadium that is depressingly dark ... with cheap advertising signs everywhere.

Oh well - when you wait as long as the Rangers have … and you’re only playing in your 4th playoff series … they’d probably play in a gravel pit in Mesquite if they could. Game 1 tomorrow … and the Rangers trying to get rid of that tag as the only major league team that has never won a playoff series … think about that - teams like Seattle and Toronto and Montreal and Colorado and Arizona … and oh yeah … Tampa Bay have won.

All teams that started playing after the Rangers …. And the Rangers the only team that hasn’t won a playoff series. That is 39 years of ugly baseball ... not as ugly as Tropicana Field … but still ugly … and about to change. If not this year … soon
