Q: I just listened to Justin Farmer tell us of Elton John's upcoming "Domestic Partnership". Let's be very clear: in England Elton John will marry his partner of 13 years, a Texan--not become a "registered domestic partner." It would be nice if the news copy he is asked to read were accurate. Thanks.

A: Here is the copy Justin read on the story: singer Elton John and David Furnish to "wed" at Guildhall in Windsor.
"Elton John and his partner have selected the venue for their civil partnership ceremony. They'll tie the knot at (the) Guildhall in Windsor -- the very place where Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles were married last spring. The two registered there yesterday--you can see their signatures in the book. Guildhall promises the couple privacy."
In the spirit of accuracy, Furnish, a filmmaker, was born in Toronto (not Texas) and resides with John in Atlanta, Georgia.
