DeSoto woman finds people living in her house

DESOTO -- When Faye Davis opens the door to her home in Desoto, she sees her dream destroyed. Davis didn't want to show her face on camera, but she showed us the holes in the walls, the busted door and her belongings, thrown in the backyard. “It's sad you know. I feel really violated and after something like this takes place,” said Davis. “There's a lot of damage.”
Damage she told us happened after renters illegally moved into her home when it was for sale and on its way to foreclosure. “I came back to check on my property and there was someone Here,” said Davis. Living in her home and with their own set of keys.
“There was a lockbox on the door, and when I came by to the premises, that was gone as well as the sign for sale in the yard was gone. The locks on the door had been changed,” said Davis.
Police believe this man, Morris Mosley, a pastor and former candidate for Lancaster mayor is responsible. Davis said she does not know, nor has ever met, Mr. Mosley. “To go into someone else's home and then rent it someone else when you don't have the property, that's pretty bold,” said Corporal Ted May, DeSoto Police.
So bold, investigators believe Mosley has done the same thing in other communities. As for Davis, she says it took almost five months, to get the illegal renters to move out of her house. “He broke the law when he entered my premises. This was our family. Our family home,” said Davis.
