Addison is offering lots of free fun family events throughout the summer.

Addison Kaboom Town, the legendary Fourth of July event, will be held this year on Friday, July 3, starting with live entertainment at 5 p.m.

Other free events the city has planned for the summer:

• This Saturday you can provide the kiddos with a little culture from the Richardson Symphony Orchestra at 8 p.m. as part of Symphonic Saturdays.

• This Friday, you can see the movie "Jaws" as part of Cinema in the Circle. The free event will be at Addison Circle Park.

• Every Saturday in July (except July 4), the city is hosting free jazz concerts at Esplinade Park.
