A North Texas woman desperate to sell her home is hoping to lure buyers by offering a high end gift with the purchase: A new Mercedes.

Nancy Henger from Lewisville added the incentive to her listing two weeks ago. She has been trying to sell her French country home located in the exclusive Enchanted Hill neighborhood of Castle Hills for nearly a year.

"At this point, we are ready to take a hit," said Henger. "We know we are going to take a hit."

The price tag for the home on the 2500 block of Silver Table Drive is nearly $2 million. Henger is looking at spending close to $60,000 on the Mercedes, but she says it's worth it.

"I have a daughter that starts college in September and I have that to begin to pay for so the relief of just having one mortgage again would make me very happy," said Henger.

The house was Henger's dream home. She never got the chance to move in because the house she lives in right now, just a few blocks away, hasn't sold either.

"I am not remorseful," said Henger. "I try to keep a positive outlook because the house helped many families with work, from the painter to the construction workers."

Her real estate agent, Susie Sharp from Virginia Cook Realty, says they got the idea after reading an article about a home owner in the northeast who threw in his Ferrari with the house.

Sharp told us that buyers for multi-million dollar homes during this recession aren't easy to find.

"There is a lot of competition out here and there's a lot of inventory so we wanted to make another incentive," said Sharp. "I think this is going to do it. I think this is what's going to sell it."

Henger hopes it's the deal that will reel in the buyers. She says she can't keep paying for two mortgages much longer. She is ready to hand over the keys to the house and the car just to be free of this financial headache.

"I'd say thank you," said Henger. "Hallelujah and here is a brand new car to go with it."

UPDATE - On Thursday, Hanger got an offer and the contract is being worked on.
