Police said the yellow Hummer ran a red light and hit a Nissan 350Z, which was covered with a tarp after the accident.

FORT WORTH — One person was killed Monday morning when two cars collided at an intersection in far northwest Fort Worth.

Two vehicles — a white Nissan 350 Z and a yellow Hummer — were involved in the wreck at Boat Club Road and Lake Country Drive near Eagle Mountain Golf Course around 8:20 a.m.

Witnesses and police said the woman who was driving the Nissan had the right of way as she was eastbound on Lake Country crossing Boat Club. Police said the driver of the Hummer ran a red light and broadsided the other vehicle, killing its driver, who was identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office as Robin O'Hagan, 50, of Fort Worth.

The man at the wheel of the Hummer was not injured. His identity was not released.

Police said it was too early to determine whether criminal charges will be filed in this case.
