Haltom City police on Saturday arrested a man who they said broke into a home and tried to sexually assault a woman earlier this month, police said.
On Nov. 10, a man broke into a home in the 5000 block of Huddleston Street and “placed his hand inside the pajamas of the sleeping victim,” according to a Police Department statement. The woman awoke and chased him off with a hammer.
Officers tested fingerprints found at the scene and determined that they were from Felipe Munoz Juarez of Haltom City, 33, police said.
Officers arrested Mr. Juarez on Saturday. He was jailed on charges of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit other felony, a first-degree felony, with bail set at $35,000.
