Richardson Police have arrested RISD coach Brent M. Archie and charged him with two counts of improper relationship between an educator and student.
Bond has been set at $40,000.00 for each count.
The relationship involved a 16-year-old juvenile, police said.
The relationship did not take place on RISD property and only one student is thought to be involved.
Archie, 31, and the student were working and attending Richardson High School at the time of the incident.
Archie had worked at the school for seven years as a football and wrestling coach. He also taught world history, according to the school's Web site.
He has been put on paid leave.
One incident is said to have taken place at his house in Plano and another at an apartment complex in a vehicle between the beginning of February and May this year.
