The woman leaving the Wal-Mart store.

A 51-year-old woman was kidnapped by two men outside an Arlington Wal-Mart store on Tuesday afternoon.

The white female was approached by a black male suspect inside the store, at 4801 S. Cooper St., who asked her for change, police said.

She replied that she did not have any and he walked away. The same man and another black male again approached the victim and engaged her in conversation. The victim decided to leave the store and was followed out by the two.

In the parking lot, the two got into a silver-grey four door vehicle. Once inside the car they asked the victim another question and when she approached the car one displayed a handgun and ordered her to get inside.

The two suspects drove the victim to a nearby residence where the driver got out and walked toward a residence. He returned to the car and, armed with the handgun, ordered the victim to get out. As they approached the residence, the suspect robbed the victim. After robbing her, the suspect rang the door bell of the residence then ran back to the car and sped away.

The resident observed the suspect outside his home with a handgun along with the victim and called 911.

Anyone with information is asked to call Arlington Detective Travis Mott at (817) 459-6493 or Safe City Commission Crime Stoppers at (817) 469-TIPS.
