Three people were killed in a head-on collision Sunday afternoon along State Highway 174 in Cleburne, police said.

About 1:15 p.m., an 18-year-old Joshua man headed northbound in a Toyota pickup entered the southbound lane near the intersection with Wilmoth Drive, striking a Chevrolet vehicle carrying four people, police said.

A 53-year-old woman driving the Chevrolet and two passengers, a 32-year-old woman and a boy believed to be under age 10, were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. All three are from Bosque County.

A girl in the car, also believed to be under age 10, and the pickup driver were hospitalized in Fort Worth, police said.

The names of the victims have not been released.
