FORT WORTH — Fort Worth police believe two 18-year-olds are behind the robbery and murder of a motel clerk.

Jay Allen was arrested at a local hospital while visiting a family member. Amarillo police picked up Malcolm Strickland on a probation violation warrant.

Fort Worth police detectives were on their way to West Texas to officially charge Strickland.

Guests discovered front desk clerk Michael Myers, 59, had been shot early Monday at the Best Western on South Freeway.
