DALLAS -- Police say it is one of the more disturbing cases they've ever seen.

Last week we told you about a man who bought a cell phone from a Dallas pawn shop. When he got it home and started searching through the phone's features, he discovered child pornography and immediately alerted the authorities.

Dallas police say they now know that child was only a year and five months old. They say they've identified the man who was engaging that baby in a sexual act.

They say the suspect was not a family member, but a friend of the family: the boyfriend of the baby's aunt.

Dallas police believe the act took place in Denton County, so they're working with authorities there to bring this man in.

"Right now, we believe the child is safe. The suspect is in a different city in Texas and does not have any contact with the child," said Sr. Cpl. Janice Crowther of the Dallas Police Department.

Dallas Police also said that the child’s mother had no idea that this was going and was understandably horrified to find out.
