CEDAR HILL — A 34-year-old woman who was shot in an apartment while children were home died Friday, Cedar Hill police said.

Judith Marie Bell was taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead just before 4 a.m., police said.

Police received a call at 2:25 a.m. Friday to report the attack and responded to the residence near the intersection of Joe Wilson Road and Weaver Street.

Detectives were interviewing members of the household, but have not made any arrests.
