Victoria Lurene Adams

Police have canceled an Amber Alert for a 16-year-old girl who disappeared Friday afternoon.

Victoria Adams is in the custody of the Dallas Police Department.

Victoria's grandmother, who is her guardian, told police that she and Victoria had been at home getting ready to go shopping. When she walked into Victoria's room to tell her it was time to go, she could not find her.

Police have not given details on the circumstances in which Victoria was found.
