Kevin Kidd returned home from a trip to find his hummer keyed.

Police at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport are warning Hummer owners to be cautious after several of the vehicles were recently vandalized in the Terminal A parking lot.

Officials said at least three, and possibly as many as five, Hummers have been vandalized.

Kevin Kidd, a Flower Mound businessman, said he found his Hummer had been scratched five times when he returned to the airport after a business trip.

"I think it's a shame," he said. "This is my private property. I don't think anyone has the right to do this to someone's private property. I understand they may be trying to make a statement, but this is not the right way to make a statement."

While airport police said they are increasing patrols in the parking lots, they said their priority remains protecting passengers and airplanes.
