HALTOM CITY - Two men are in jail after Haltom City police said their road rage led to the death of a 4-year-old boy.

Last week, Colton Jones, 4, was riding with his mother's boyfriend, Jimmy Sandoval, on Highway 121 through Haltom City around noon.

Police said that was when Todd Klee cut Sandoval off because he was driving too slow. Sandoval lost control, swerved through traffic, his car flipped several times and Colton was tossed onto the highway.

"Road rage is not worth it. Too many people die from road rage, and when you have innocent children that die from road rage, you have to live with it for the rest of your life," said Lucy Jones, the victim's grandmother.

While there was a car seat in Sandoval's car, police said Colton wasn't buckled in.

Now, Sandoval is charged with child endangerment and Klee is charged with manslaughter.

"I want them punished because they took the only thing that, other than my children, they took the only thing that meant the world to me," Jones said.
