Bomb threat, suspicious package probed at Irving store

IRVING - A bomb threat led investigators to bring in the bomb squad Tuesday night at an Irving Tom Thumb.

Police brought in a robot to probe a suspicious suitcase that was found in the parking lot of the grocery store located at Beltline Road and Northgate Road.

Authorities blew up the suitcase, but it appeared there was no explosive device within.
