There may be a new method which allows women to use the science of her body to make decisions. Starting a diet from day 2 to 13 is the best because you’re already eating 12 percent less and your cravings are far fewer, and you just feel like eating healthier," says Lichterman. Days 6 through 10, estrogen levels are high, brain skills are sharp, it's a good time to ask for a raise. Thanks to your hormones, you are also prettier during these days. “Days 14 to 22 are mellower days, so you know you are going to feel more sedate. Those are days to take it easy – got to brunch with a girlfriend,” said Lichterman. By the 23rd day of the menstrual cycle hormone levels are now at their lowest and so is your mood. The worst day to start a diet is the 22nd day of your cycle. The ultimate day for physical fireworks -- the morning of the 13th day of your cycle when testosterone peaks in both woman and men.
