Clerk shoots man allegedly stealing beer

A clerk at an East Dallas gas station shot and killed a man over two cases of beer at Winslow Avenue and R.L. Thornton Freeway. Police said the man tried to steal the beer and the clerk shouted for the man to stop. The man refused to stop and when he reached into his pocket the clerk shot him in the back, police said. Police said they are investigating the incident
