SHARON MOORE/CITY CREDIT UNION

www.citycu.org

City Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, with branches in Dallas, Cooke and Ellis Counties, Texas. Owned by its Members and directed by a volunteer Board of Directors, City Credit Union operates on the principle of credit union philosophy, "People Helping People". City Credit Union's full-range of financial services, from free checking, competitive rates on consumer loans and deposit products, as well as cutting-edge convenience services, are designed to the benefit of people, not to profit.

As President and CEO of City Credit Union, Sharon Moore leads more than 117 City CU Associates in "Making the Difference" for our Members. "City Credit Union, as well as others, was founded on a basic principle of People Helping People. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we are owned by our members, and that truly makes a difference in how we operate. Each day, we start by asking ourselves, how can we make the difference in our members' and associates' lives? - and that is how we measure our daily success."

Moore celebrates 25-years in the Credit Union industry, this year. As a young finance major at Southwest Texas State University - now known as Texas State University - Moore took a 2-1/2 day class on banking and credit unions. As Moore describes, "that was it, I fell in love with the Credit Union philosophy and knew that was what I wanted to do." After earning her Bachelors of Business Administration, Moore began her career as a Credit Union Examiner.

When Moore decided to start a family, it was imperative to her that she be able to spend time as the primary caretaker of her children. As a result, she followed her entrepreneurial spirit and began her own credit union consulting company, S. Moore and Associates. Performing financial audits and consulting services, Moore, as President of S. Moore and Associates, assisted numerous credit unions in the Texas region. One such credit union was City Credit Union, where Moore performed audit and financial consulting for nearly 10 years. In 2004, Moore was asked to join City Credit Union as a Senior Vice President, due to her financial expertise. By 2006, she was appointed Interim President and CEO and as of January 2007, serves as President and CEO.

Moore's passion for credit unions is fueled by an extreme commitment to education, especially financial education. "Education is the true liberator in our society. As individuals, our education can catapult us into areas previously unknown. I truly believe to achieve financial goals, such as overcoming poverty or debt, financial literacy is the key to success. This is especially important in the communities of modest means that credit unions serve. Often times, when there is no money to talk about in a household, it simply isn't spoken about. But that is when talking about money and planning on how to save and spend it, is so important. I will have achieved success if I can help our associates, members and communities gain the financial knowledge necessary for them to achieve their lives' goals."

Moore serves on the Town North Bank Board of Directors, as Secretary for the Dallas Chapter of Credit Unions Board and volunteers time to community projects such as Habitat for Humanity. As an active member in her community, Moore especially enjoys her time at the ball park with her two sons, both baseball fanatics, just like their mom!

You can email Moore at sharon@citycu.org or call her at 214-515-0100 .

MICHELLE LADEWIG/BODY WRAPS OF TEXAS

www.bodywrapstexas.com

How does the power wrap work? Metabolic waste, chemicals, stress, medication and pollution in our environment overload body systems, causing water retention and soft spongy, cellulite-ridden tissue.

The Power Wrap is a procedure which includes wrapping the entire body in elastic bandages soaked with a natural mineral solution. During the one hour period, the client does light exercise to help maximize the results of the process. How long does the appointment take?

Your first visit will last about 2 and 1/2 hours. Repeat visits will last 1 and 1/2 hours. How many inches will I lose?

It is impossible to predict exact inch loss because each person is different and may have specific goals in mind. Inch loss is a total of 19 pin point measurements of the body (upper arms, chest, hips, thighs, calves, midriff, abdomen, etc.) taken before and after the wrap. Is this wrap dehydrating?

NO! The soaked bandages are applied warm on the body. This has a cooling effect, so a poncho is placed over the person to maintain body heat. How long do results last?

While it is not possible to predict exactly how long results will last, the average is for 2-3 months at a time, depending on factors such as age, diet, weight maintenance and metabolism. Do I need to do anything special before or after my visit?

Yes, there are instructions you will need to prepare for your wrap, which you can get when you schedule your appointment. After the wrap, we recommend you do not shower for several hours. There is no odor or residue from the wrap and you will be able to safely return to your daily activities. There are no other restrictions or requirements after your wrap. How quickly will I see results?

You will see results immediately when you are unwrapped. The skin will appear tighter, cellulite will look smoother, stretch marks will be visibly reduced. The shape of the body may be visibly different and your clothes usually fit slightly differently when you change back into them. We recommend wearing or bringing a garment that fits tightly in your target areas, so that you can see the difference more easily. Can the wrap help a double chin or round face?

Certainly! The Power Wrap includes wrapping the face. A certain amount of tightening is achieved on the face and under the chin. For clients who only want to slenderize facial appearance, or want extra results on the face without doing an entire body wrap, the Facial Wrap is recommended. Will the Power Wrap help with the appearance of Cellulite?

Yes! Customers who specifically targeted cellulite-ridden areas for improvement reported a visible result after being wrapped just one time, and that cellulite was nearly invisible after 3-5 wrap sessions. How many wraps will I need?

The number of wraps is determined by what your goals are and how your body responds the wrap. To reduce specific body areas or cellulite, or to maximize inch loss, you should come in for a wrap once or twice a week, until your objectives are met.

If you are dieting and exercising for weight loss, or have undergone a surgical procedure for weight reduction, it is recommended you come in for one Power Wrap for every 5 pounds you lose. Depending on the rate of your weight loss, this may be once a week up to once per month. What do I need to do to maintain my results?

Results last longer for some people than for others. For best results, we recommend one Power Wrap every 2-3 months, once you have reached your goals. How frequently can I do the Power Wrap?

This process is safe enough to do 2-3 times in one day. Immediate goals, such as a wedding or another important date where slimness is a must, can be sped up through multiple wraps in one day. Will I lose weight?

Inches, not pounds, is what the Power Wrap is designed for. We make no claims for weight loss. Are there any medical considerations?

Common sense dictates. If you are on medication or have a medical condition, you should obtain your doctor's permission.

Of course, the body wrap should not be done if you have any contagious condition, open wounds, or irritation of the skin caused by other beauty treatments, such as waxing, body scrubs, microdermabrasion, etc.
