FC Dallas looking forward to next season

After a horrid start to the season, FCD jumped back into the playoff hunt with a four-game winning streak, but the team's postseason dreams were shattered late Saturday night with a season-ending 2-1 loss against the Seattle Sounders FC in front of 33,108 fans at Qwest Field.

Playoffs still in FC Dallas' grasp
When FC Dallas coach Schellas Hyndman closed practices at the start of this week, he did so to keep his team focused on the task at hand - staying in contention for the playoffs. From the opening whistle of its 2-1 victory Saturday night over Colorado at Pizza Hut Park, FC Dallas did exactly that.

There seems to be no end to the possible outcomes to the MLS playoff race. Heading into tonight's crucial matchup with Colorado, FC Dallas coach Schellas Hyndman does not want to know any of them.
