Two-alarm apartment fire in Dallas

DALLAS — Seven families were displaced Monday morning by a two-alarm apartment fire in Dallas near Interstate 635.
The first-floor blaze at Sienna Springs apartments in the 9400 block of Skillman Street was reported shortly after 7 a.m., Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said. More than 40 firefighters responded, and no injuries were reported.
Southbound Skillman remained closed in the area as officials investigated the cause.
Two apartments were damaged by fire, and six had smoke and water damage,Evans said.
