Garland Police tell News 8 that Thai Nguyen, the suspect in six random shootings across several northern Dallas suburbs, has confessed to all six of the shootings.

Nguyen was transferred to the Dallas County Jail late Thursday morning.

Investigators say they have the evidence linking Thai Nguyen to the crimes, but they are still searching for a motive.

The Vietnamese immigrant has a criminal history that includes robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
