GRANBURY — Granbury police say two women were found shot to death inside a parked vehicle outside a Granbury plumbing business.

After the women were found slain Saturday morning, police are investigating their deaths as a double homicide. Their names have not yet been released.

Granbury police Sgt. Rodney Casey says an employee of the plumbing business called police after seeing the two women — who the employee believed were sleeping — slumped over in the front seat of a sport utility vehicle.

Casey said police found the women dead from what appeared to be gunshots in the head.

The bodies were taken to the Tarrant County medical examiner's office.
