Boy killed in Cleburne pickup truck crash

CLEBURNE — A 10-year-old boy was killed and a man was critically injured after a pickup truck veered off the road in Cleburne Saturday night.
Police said the truck was traveling on Burgess Road between County Road 801C and Main Street when it slammed into a tree just before 7 o'clock.
Ten-year-old Lem Dekota of Cleburne was pronounced dead at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth about an hour later.
A 22-year-old passenger was reported to be in critical condition. The 32-year-old driver of the truck was not hurt.
The cause of the accident was under investigation.
