DALLAS — It will be hard to miss former President Bill Clinton on Tuesday as he returns to North Texas on behalf of his wife's presidential campaign. Barack Obama has scheduled a Fort Worth rally on Thursday.

Mr. Clinton will start the day at Grauwyler Park in Northwest Dallas at 10 a.m. for an "early vote event," followed by an appearance at Mountain View Community College in Southwest Dallas at 11:45.

At 1:15, the former president will be at the Samuell Grand Recreation Center at 6200 East Grand Avenue, after which he will shift the campaign to Fort Worth with appearances at the Worth Heights Community Center at 4:15 and at Marine Park at 5:30 p.m.

Bill Clinton will then travel to Austin for an early evening rally at the University of Texas.

Hillary Clinton is expected to make a swing through Dallas-Fort Worth on Saturday, although no itinerary has been announced.

Barack Obama's campaign says the candidate will appear in Fort Worth Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Fort Worth Convention Center downtown. His lunch hour rally at Reunion Arena in Dallas last Wednesday was said to be the largest political event in the city's history.

An ABC News/Washington Post poll conducted between Feb. 16-20 showed Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were in a statistical dead heat in Texas, which Mr. Clinton has said is crucial to his wife's presidential bid.

Early voting for the Texas Democratic primary continues through Friday. Election Day is Tuesday, March 4.
