11:34 PM CDT on Monday, August 20, 2007

By WFAA-TV Staff Reports

ARLINGTON - A crane cable hit a man from behind while he worked construction Monday at the site of where the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium is being built in Arlington.

The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. when the worker was on the fifth level of the stadium.

Another crane lowered the man on a stretcher to an ambulance on ground.

Jack Hill, stadium construction manager for the Cowboys, said the worker, whose name was not been released, is conscious and does not appear to have life-threatening injuries.

Back in January, another worker was injured at the site when he fell 20 feet from scaffolding.
