Police seek missing Alzheimer's patient

A 70-year-old Dallas man who police said suffers from Alzheimer’s disease was missing Friday, nearly two days after he left home and did not return.

Police said Mitchell Buchanan left his home Wednesday evening around 8 p.m., driving a gray 1996 Dodge pickup with Texas license plate 2FY-J09. 

Mr. Buchanan had just been released from the hospital, and had not driven a vehicle in several months, police said.

He was described as 6 feet, 4 inches tall and 230 pounds with gray hair.  He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a Dallas Cowboys cap.
