Suspect shot, killed by police in drug raid 5:28 AM CST

A Dallas police officer was placed on paid leave after an attempt to serve a search warrant resulted in the death of a suspect Monday afternoon.
The shooting occurred in the 3800 block of Timberglen Road in far North Dallas.
Police said that narcotics officers identified themselves, then forced their way into an apartment. An adult who raised a handgun was shot multiple times, according to police.
Three other suspects were arrested.
