Get Out There!: Wednesday's top events in Dallas and Fort Worth
12:00 AM CDT on Wednesday, October 22, 2008
Lemon, no sugar
Take an oh-so-civilized break from your daily routine with the Harvest Tea at the Dallas Arboretum, offered every Wednesday through Sunday through Nov. 23. For $33.50, you can stroll the pumpkin-lined paths, sniff the chrysanthemums and other vibrant fall plantings, and then enjoy a full tea service. If you'd like a pre-tea glass of champagne, the price is $42.50. Prices include parking, arboretum admission and gratuity. 8525 Garland Road. Reservations: 214-515-6610, www.dallasarboretum.org.
Shadow of a 'Doubt'
This is the last week to catch WaterTower Theatre's gripping production of Doubt. It tells the way-too-timely story of a nun who suspects an adored priest is abusing one of his students. 7:30 tonight (runs through Sunday). 15650 Addison Road, Addison. $25-$40. 972-450-6232, www.watertowertheatre.org.
Ring around the Rosebud
One of the all-time movie classics, Orson Welles' 1941 drama Citizen Kane, airs tonight at 9. (If you don't know the "Rosebud" reference, here's your chance.) Welles portrays a newspaper magnate who rises ruthlessly to the top, gaining great wealth but losing the things that matter more in life. It's been called the "best movie of all time" in several polls. 2 hrs, 15 mins. TCM.

Cow parade
You're a Texan: Here's your chance to act like one. To promote Texas Stampede Week in November at American Airlines Center, an actual cattle drive will take place downtown, along Main Street starting at St. Paul and ending at Houston, at 11 this morning. The drive will feature 100 head of longhorn cattle herded by a team of real-live drovers. Watch where you step. Free. 214-520-8874, www.texasstampede.org.
