Disc Debuts: CDs, DVDs and games released this week

Keith Anderson, C'mon! (Columbia Nashville) – Long-awaited sophomore studio album from the Oklahoma-born country singer has plenty of rocking energy and down-home swagger.

Carolina Liar, Coming to Terms (Atlantic) – The debut album from the pop-rock band fronted by Chad Wolf has already received major exposure on several episodes of MTV's The Hills.

Julianne Hough, Julianne Hough (Mercury Nashville) – Dancer turned singer, who's already familiar to Dancing With the Stars fans, goes country on her debut album featuring the single "That Song in My Head."

King's X, XV (Inside Out Music) – Acclaimed, enduring rockers with a cult following return after a three-year silence with a project featuring members Doug Pinnick, Ty Tabor and Jerry Gaskill.

Sonny Landreth, From the Reach (Landfall) – Singer, songwriter and slide guitarist from Louisiana recorded this studio disc with guests Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Vince Gill, Dr. John, Jimmy Buffett and others.

Mates of State, Re-Arrange Us (Barsuk) – Husband-and-wife duo from Kansas Kori Gardner and Jason Hammel adds lush strings, guitar and horns to its melodic songwriting style.

Jesse McCartney, Departure (Hollywood) – Actor, singer and former member of boy band Dream Street unveils his third solo effort, which is said to have a different sound than his first two records.

Esperanza Spalding, Esperanza (Heads Up) – Jazz bassist, vocalist and composer mixes soul, pop and world music into the classic genre then serves up songs in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Donna Summer, Crayons (Burgundy) – The legendary Queen of Disco delivers her first studio project in 17 years, a collaboration with tunesmiths such as Greg Kurstin, Danielle Brisebois, JR Rotem, Evan Bogart and Lester Mendez.

Yellowjackets, Lifecycle (Heads Up) – Seven tracks feature the Yellowjackets plus guitarist Mike Stern, while the other three highlight the talents of band members Russell Ferrante, Bob Mintzer, Jimmy Haslip and Marcus Baylor.

The Color of Freedom – Dennis Haysbert stars in this true story based on the memoir of Nelson Mandela's prison guard.

SingStar – The PS2 versions of this karaoke franchise, like F-1 racing and David Hasselhoff, are huge in Europe. Now it makes the leap to the PlayStation 3.

Haze – A first-person shooter in which you play as a soldier of the future granted superhuman powers by an engineered cocktail known as "nectar." For PS3.
