Alert the Vespa-riding paparazzi and cue the news helicopters: Paris Hilton is on her way to Highland Park.

The Regent Highland Park Village is one of several theaters around the country that Paris is visiting to premiere her film The Hottie and the Nottie. On Tuesday evening, she is scheduled to make a red-carpet arrival for the screening.

Most people with a high-speed Internet connection know that this is not Paris' first movie; however, this one does have a plot. Paris plays hottie Cristabel Abbott, a "perfect 10" (according to the press release) while her friend, June Phigg, played by Christine Lakin, is the Nottie.

What's the connection between tennis star Venus Williams and George W. Bush? Soon, they will both be married to SMU alums.

Last year, the sporting world took notice when PGA Tour golfer Hank Kuehne accompanied Venus to both Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. Last week, word came that the couple are engaged to be married.

Hank was born in Dallas and was an All-American golfer at SMU. While still in college, he won the 1998 U.S. Amateur. The following year, he turned pro.

Meanwhile, Jessica Simpson is still on the radar. The singer and Tony Romo fave was spotted this week at Medina Oven & Bar in Victory Park. She happily signed autographs for Medina staff and patrons.

Still no official word on who the blonde was dining with Lance Armstrong in Dallas this week. There's been a lot of speculation that it was actress Ashley Olsen who accompanied him to both Al Biernat's and Nobu in the Hotel Crescent Court.

One source at one of the venues has been reviewing the security videotape as though it was the Zapruder film and still cannot make a positive ID. "She looks too tall to be an Olsen twin," was the verdict.

The fact that Abacus chef-owner Kent Rathbun dined recently at BLT Steak did not go unobserved by the North Dallas restaurant's founder, New York chef Laurent Tourondel.

While in Dallas this week, Laurent and BLT co-owner Keith Treyball made a Wednesday night visit to Abacus to talk shop with Kent.

Later, they hit the trifecta of restaurants owned by local restaurateur Tristan Simon.

Laurent and Keith joined Tristan at the Porch before moving on to his steakhouse, Hibiscus, and lastly his pizza joint, Fireside Pies.

Now that celebrity hairstylist Frederic Fekkai has a Dallas location in his stable of salons, expect to see him pop in and out. He recently opened a second-floor shop at Highland Park Village.

On Monday, Frederic was spotted dining at Stephan Pyles restaurant in the Arts District.

Happy birthday to comedian and radio host Steve Harvey, who is sporting a new look.

On Thursday, Steve turned 51. He owns a lavish estate in Plano.

On Monday, Jet magazine will release its new issue, which features a bald Steve Harvey on the cover.

The idea to shave his head came from a listener who called him "over the hill."

"OK, I got to do something to stop this line of thinking," Steve told Jet, "because at 50, I should not be thought of as over the hill. At 50, a man ought to feel that he is on top of the hill. At 50, you are still fly."
