On the tube

MINI IDOLS: Wylie's 10-year-old Kacie Lynch has a lot of spunk and talent. See for yourself on today's The Maury Show. Kacie was discovered by Linda Septien, who also discovered Jessica and Ashlee Simpson. The day after the show received Kacie's audition tape – she sang "Ain't No Other Man" by Christina Aguilera – the Spring Creek Academy sixth-grader and her mom were on a plane to New York for rehearsals. The show airs at 10 a.m. on KDAF-TV (Channel 33).

IN THE KNOW

WHO'S WHO: During an intermission of Democracy, Theatre Three's Jac Alder overheard a patron say, "It's so incredible and bizarre that each one of the West German characters reminds me of someone I know now in politics on a local and even national level." That led the producer to wonder

which current politician has the face that makes "all the cats ... run under the sofa"?

EVERYTHING'S COMING UP ROSIE: Love her or hate her, there's no question Rosie O'Donnell has boosted the profile of The View. According to Variety, ratings among women 18 to 49 have spiked 23 percent.
