Under the heading "Where'd they go to finishing school – on a pirate ship?" comes this: Kristy Swanson pressed assault charges Sunday against the ex-wife of her companion and former Skating With Celebrities partner, Lloyd Eisler, her representative said.

Police took pictures of bruises on her back and elsewhere to document injuries the movie version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer claimed she got during a scuffle with Mr. Eisler's ex-wife, Marcia O'Brien, on Friday in Canada, said Swanson spokesman Michael Sands.

Ms. O'Brien filed a complaint against Ms. Swanson first, however. Ms. Swanson told People she was arrested Saturday night for allegedly assaulting Ms. O'Brien and that she was released after posting bail in Kingston, Ontario.

Mr. Sands said the couple was in Kingston to visit Mr. Eisler's children and discuss custody with Ms. O'Brien. (Apparently, the discussions took a bad turn.) Attempts to reach Ms. O'Brien weren't successful.
