Harry Potter can sure deliver a crowd. The theater community packed into Broadway's Broadhurst on Thursday night to watch Daniel Radcliffe 's gala opening night in Equus. Reviews of his performance as a stable hand who worships – and blinds – six horses were positive: •The New York Times: "The 19-year-old film star ... steps into a mothball-preserved, off-the-rack part and wears it like a tailor's delight – that is, a natural fit that allows the room to stretch." •The Daily News: "He's terrific and gives a passionate performance." •The Washington Post: "Radcliffe's contribution won't blow you away; it does get a basic job done."
